Routine rescue on a great day

Saturday afternoon's callout was to a 7.5m launch returning to Sandspit and was between Motuora and Moturekareka. It had fuel supply problems and the engine kept on cutting out.  

The page came through at around 1540, and we were off to the boat and away quickly.  When we were going down the river an updated position came through; they had made it to not far from Algies Bay but were now completely stopped. 

We met up with the four people on board who had been having a great day out with some great weather, flat calm, and nice temps once the mist burnt off in the morning.

We quickly hooked them up and bought them back into Sandspit Marina to recover onto their trailer.
